Parent Satisfaction Survey results show ‘overall satisfaction’ with Center
This year, 15 surveys were returned. Seventy-nine surveys were provided to parents, resulting in then a 19% response rate. Last year, 25 surveys were returned. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being very satisfied and 1 being very dissatisfied, the majority of ratings were either 4 or 5. Questions regarding administration of center operations and child’s meals and snacks had the highest average rating of 4.93. The question regarding parent/teacher partnerships and involvement, had the lowest mean rating at 4.47. No mean (average) score was lower than 4.47.

Director honored as 2014 Illinois AEYC Children’s Champion
Barbara Warmoth, director of the Charleston Community Day Care Center, was recognized as a 2014 Children’s Champion at the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
